Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, former supermodel and filmmaker. In addition to her graceful appearance, her steady success in the competitive film industry proves her skills as a performer. The career of her was launched as a fashion model in 1970, her rise quickly to prominence. From the 80s onwards, she began taking acting classes, and was a theater student before appearing on stages in Los Angeles. Russo's screen debut was in ABCs 1988 drama Sable, where she played Eden Kendell. She portrayed Tom Berengers' love interest the following year with Major League, her debut film. The critics were initially skeptical about her talent as an actor, but her consistent performance enthused them. The critics loved her most in the film Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak in which she stood her own against Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. But, as per her own words she was never passionate about the role. She self-imposed a long break in 2005. After that, she made her return as a part of the film about superheroes called Thor. Also, she appeared in Nightcrawler which her husband was awarded an Oscar for. The Intern and Just Getting Started are two light-hearted films where she was a part of the cast.

Rose Namajunas, one of the most well-known female UFC athletes, is a successful athlete. Her journey began as an amateur, fighting in various regional events. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her in and then she signed up for Ultimate Fighting Championships. Her success in and out in the Octagon has made her famous since she joined the UFC. Namajunas is an Lithuanian born American who was born on the 29th of June 1991 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Rose played basketball and kickboxing as a child. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her at age 18 and she went on to beat two opponents via submission. It caught the attention to Dana White who signed her to join UFC the strawweight division on December 14, 2014, when she was just twenty-two years of age. Rose has been through highs as well as lows in her career, yet she always emerges victorious. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza in April 2015 for the Women's Strawweight Championship. She won the fight by technical knockout within 3 minutes of the first round. This was the first women to compete for a title title with any of the major promotions in the world.
