Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is well-known American actress. She's appeared in a variety of TV and film shows like "Christy" which is a comedy about a teenage girl known as Christy Huddleston. Her other notable roles include playing the title role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin was born to an employee of a department store and a kindergarten instructor. The actress began her acting career in the age of seven when her Aunt, who was an nanny for Michael Landon's family, offered to help Martin to be in the 1982 television series Father Murphy. Following her graduation from Yale University, she took acting more seriously and landed significant roles both on the smaller and large screen. In addition to being an actress Martin is also a talented photographer as well as a ballet dancer. Martin's sister, who died from Lupus at the age of 19, was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus National spokesperson.
